Uruguay is a single country, but where good manners can get the attention and kindness of Uruguayans, then we are going to show some of them:

 

1 Practice basic courtesy. Say "please" and "thank you" when appropriate. People notice when you're polite and respectful to them, and that's worth a lot. Also, say "apology" every time you take inadvertently someone ahead or "permit" if you have to go to a social momentarily meeting.  

2 Hold the door open for others. Must not be the guy doors. If someone enters a site about the same time as you, stop for a second and keep it open.
