FLAG

 

The uruguayan flag has three colors: white, blue and golden in the sun that have the flag

 

  • The white color mean the light, the glory, the innocence, joy, forgiveness and love; It is also a symbol of service to God and the Nation

 

  • The blue color mean space and immaculate sky evokes meditation, and high philosophical speculation, in the service of the nation and the country, with clear and deep thoughts full of love

 

  • The Golden sun mean  nobility, magnanimity, wealth, power, light, perseverance, wisdom, strength, faith and purity.

The streets are colorful to give joy to those who pass by :)

THE GRILL

The grill is a type of BBQ, the cooking is done with wood coals and not with coal.

 

The roasted, grilled chicken or spied, chorizo, blood sausage, chitterlings, sweetbreads, fat gut, chotos and pamplona (rolled pork or chicken, stuffed with cheese, ham, peppers, olives or raisins) are still picked by over half of the population dishes.

Other dishes include steak, hamburgers (usually made of beef) and the classical national dish, a got, a type of sandwich.

ROAST LEATHER

Consist of a roast beef cattle or sheep leather. Cooking can be performed on a grill or on a skewer or espied outdoors.

PANCHO

Like a hot dog

Sandwich with a wiener ( frankfurter) boiled served on a bun elongated, know as vienna bread.

FIGAZZA

Made pizza dough, but without ketchup, and its main ingredients are onion and pepper (capsicum) and fauna chickpea flour.

CHIVITO

Tenderloin sandwich and other ingredients like cheese, ham, tomato, lettuce, olives and mayonnaise

EATING FRIED CAKES WHEN IT RAINS
